Bronwyn Fasulkey
Founder/President
Widowed at 38, Bronwyn lost her husband, Shawn, in a tragic boating accident in 2020. In the midst of her own grief, she recognized the need for connection and understanding among those navigating the loss of a spouse and created a monthly dinner group for Widows and Widowers.
Outside of her nonprofit work, Bronwyn has spent more than 25 years in the landscape industry and serves as a TRAQ Certified Arborist with her family's landscape company, C&M Landscape Inc. Whether she's assessing trees, building community partnerships, or supporting someone through one of the most difficult chapters of life, Bronwyn believes that compassion, connection, and showing up for others can make all the difference.
With the Four Point Widows & Widowers Foundation, Bronwyn hopes to continue expanding programs that not only provide meaningful social connection, but also offer resources and financial assistance that help widows and widowers rebuild their lives with purpose, and hope.
Aida Weinstein
Community Director
Widowed in her 60s, Aida lost her husband, Bruce, to Cancer. Seeking connection and understanding after her loss, she found a supportive community within Four Point Widows & Widowers and quickly became one of the group's most welcoming and compassionate members.
Aida is a proud graduate of the University of London and retired as an Accounting Manager from Wesco Aircraft after 23 years of dedicated service. Since retirement, she has devoted her time to serving the Santa Clarita community through volunteer work with the Child & Family Center and Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita. Her lifelong passion for helping others has made a meaningful impact on countless lives, and that same kindness and generosity continue to support fellow Widows and Widowers on their grief journeys through our Group.
Judy Hall
Vice President/Secretary
Widowed at 64, Judy lost her husband, John, just as retirement and the long-anticipated “golden years” were beginning. This life-changing loss reinforced for her how fragile life can be and how even the best-laid plans do not always unfold as expected.
A veteran educator with 49 years of experience, Judy holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and a Master’s degree in educational leadership. She retired as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for the Palmdale School District and continues to serve as a consultant for a children’s educational software company.
Judy is the proud mother of two married adult children and grandmother to three wonderful granddaughters. Through Four Point Widows & Widower, she discovered a renewed sense of purpose, friendship, and what one friend affectionately calls “Life 2.0.” As Vice President and Secretary of the organization, Judy is passionate about supporting others who are navigating the loss of a beloved spouse, helping them find connection, hope, and a path forward.
Leslie Hewitt
Volunteer Director
Widowed in her 60s, Leslie Hewitt lost her husband in 2023 after sharing 14 wonderful years together. Like so many who experience the loss of a spouse, she found herself searching for connection, understanding, and hope. That search led her to Four Point Widows & Widowers, where she discovered a community of people who truly understood her journey and welcomed her with open arms.
Today, Leslie has found joy again through the meaningful friendships, social activities, and travel adventures she shares with fellow members. As Volunteer Director for Four Point Widows & Widowers, she helps coordinate and support the incredible volunteers who make our events and programs possible, ensuring every new member feels welcomed and supported. Looking ahead to retirement in 3 short years, Leslie remains passionate about giving back and reminds others that taking the first step is often the hardest, but they will never have to walk the journey alone.
Erica Zaragoza
Treasurer/Advocate Director
Widowed at 33, Erica lost her husband, Joe, to Cancer. As a young widow and new mother, she experienced firsthand the challenges of rebuilding her life after loss and discovered the healing power of community.
Today, Erica is a Certified Financial Planner® professional, mother to a spirited 13-year-old daughter, and Co-Founder of the Orange County Chapter of Four Point Widows & Widowers. As Treasurer and Advocate Director for the Four Point Widows & Widowers Foundation, she combines her financial expertise to help strengthen the organization's mission and expand its impact.
Erica understands the unique challenges of parenting while grieving and brings a special sense of empathy to fellow widows and widowers raising children on their own. Having walked that path herself, she offers comfort, encouragement, and hope to others navigating life after loss. Her heart for serving others is rooted in her own experience, and she is committed to helping others discover that while life after loss is different, it can still be filled with purpose, joy, and meaningful new beginnings.
